On Tuesday, we talked to Sati again and she said that from her meeting with the Owens (senior couple here) on Sunday during church and also from watching Special Witnesses of Christ (four times), she made a decision. Monday last week she set up an appointment to go talk to the head honcho for the Hindu organization she has been involved in. She told him and others in the place that she would be leaving that group and getting baptized into our church. They tried to dissuade her and slander one of the Guyanese church leaders. She has a testimony of Joseph Smith and is a smart lady, so they put down their attempts. She is doing very well and is preparing for baptism in the coming week.

Success Story - Visiting a less active family
We visited an old family with the Mortons, who was fellowshipped about 15 yrs ago but were never baptized. After visiting with them we found out that they loved the church but didn't have the push to come back. We left with an "I'll Try" to come to church. Not hoping for too much to happen, they walked into Sacrament Meeting late but made it. They had a wonderful time and have intentions of progressing.

Success Story - They know how to get the job done
This week we brought the Leishmans out to an appointment with a really sweet investigator. She and her son love the message we share. Elder and Sister Leishman were quick to bear sincere powerful testimony, recommit, and solidify baptism right away! She felt the spirit, came to church, and is excited about baptism! Senior Missionaries definitely know how to get the job done and seal the deal!

Success Story - "Elder Myers, will you baptize me tomorrow?"
We had a lady who was thinking about baptism this past week. She is quite a sharp lady and was thinking very hard about the decision to be baptized. We took the Myers (senior couple) teaching by this lady one day, and at the beginning of the second lesson with them present, she had adamantly decided that she would not be baptized that coming weekend (It was Friday when we were teaching her). By the end of the lesson, she out of no where said, "Elder Myers, will you baptize me tomorrow?" Elder Myers did in fact baptize her and she will have a lifetime fellowshipper because of it...a pretty solid one too! I was reminded of a great lesson that the senior couples can play huge role when teaching.
